1987
Our story begins among the green hills of Marche Region, in the largest footwear manufacturing area in Europe, where Gianni Gallucci lives. In 1987, Gallucci graduated with full marks with a thesis about a software project named TESEO. In the same year – in the garage of his house-, he created TESEO and, upon requests of friends and artisans who worked in the footwear sector, the IDEA is born.
In six months, he wrote by himself PRAGMA, the first CAD-CAM software for footwear for Personal Computer, spread in the footwear industry in a few months…
1988 - 1990
…in the following two years, Gallucci invented, manufactured and sold small machines for the cutting of card board and small hides, integrated with a CAD program for footwear. The combination of a simple and flexible CAD with an efficient machine for patterns and prototyping, makes TESEO grow on the European market.
1993
…until he invented the FC4 in 1993: the first automatic cutter with an oscillating knife for leather cutting.
